MARDAN: Real Pakistan Movement chief Yousaf Khan Hoti has said that his party represents the genuine voice of Pakistan’s middle class andy is committed to ensuring basic rights and justice for the country’s underprivileged people.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Mr Hoti said the public had become disillusioned with traditional political parties and that the country needed a new and sincere leadership.
He said Pakistan’s youth were the nation’s greatest asset and that the Real Pakistan Movement would focus its efforts on creating better employment opportunities, promoting quality education and strengthening the country’s higher education system.
Criticising successive governments, Mr Hoti said the rulers had failed to take effective measures for public welfare and had prioritised personal interests over addressing the people’s problems. As a result, he said, inflation, unemployment and other socio-economic challenges had continued to worsen.
He said the Real Pakistan Movement would continue its struggle for a transparent, accountable and people-centric system and would raise its voice at every forum for the protection of citizens’ rights.
