PESHAWAR:The Local Government Department has honorably reinstated Madam Shahana Sikandar as the Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) of Jahangira, sparking widespread jubilation across the tehsil.
As Madam Shahana arrived in Akora Khattak, an enthusiastic crowd from Jahangira, Khairabad, Shido, and Nizampur greeted her with the beat of traditional drums, floral garlands, and chants of support. Flower petals were showered upon her in a show of affection and gratitude toward her return.
The emotional homecoming marked a triumphant moment for the TMO, who addressed the gathering with a heartfelt message. “When I was suspended following a conspiracy and a viral video engineered by the encroachment mafia, I stood firm in my belief that the truth would prevail. My trust in my work, in Allah, and in the justice of this government has brought me back today,” she stated.
Madam Shahana expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering support of the people of Jahangira Tehsil. “Your trust and prayers have strengthened me. I vow to serve with renewed dedication and will work tirelessly to make Jahangira a model tehsil free from encroachment and corruption,” she said.
