PESHAWAR : A spiritually uplifting and blessed Milad-e-Mustafa (PBUH) gathering for women was organized by the Karwan-e-Hawa Literary Forum at the residence of Bushra Farukh, with a large number of women from different walks of life in attendance. The gathering featured Naat recitation, inspiring accounts from the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and collective Durood-o-Salam.
The gathering began with the remembrance of Allah Almighty and the offering of Durood-o-Salam in honour of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Female Naat reciters presented devotional verses with profound love and reverence. Bushra Farukh, Tabinda Farukh, Faiza Shehzad, Dr. Roshan Kaleem, Samina Qadir, Dr. Shahida Shaheen Sardar, Dr. Nadia, Rabia Tabassum, Nargis Zaidi and other women presented Naats in deeply moving voices. Rose petals were showered over the attendees during the recitation, further enhancing the spiritual atmosphere.
Various inspiring incidents from the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were also narrated. Bushra Farukh spoke about the blessed life, noble character, compassion and love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for the Muslim Ummah. The women listened to these accounts with great devotion and attention.
One of the most emotional moments came when all the women stood in respect and collectively offered Durood-o-Salam in honour of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The atmosphere became deeply charged with devotion and love, while several participants were moved to tears.
On the occasion, a cake was also cut to celebrate Dr. Shahida Shaheen Sardar, Executive Member of the Karwan-e-Hawa Literary Forum, on receiving the prestigious Presidential Award for Pride of Performance. The participants congratulated Dr. Shahida Shaheen Sardar on the national honour and paid tribute to her literary and social services.
At the conclusion, Bushra Farukh led a heartfelt prayer. Special prayers were offered for the elevation and unity of the Muslim Ummah, the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan, an end to the difficulties facing the country, and the welfare of the nation. Prayers were also offered for the departed soul of Shamim Fazal, Executive Member of the Karwan-e-Hawa Literary Forum, for the reward of her good deeds.
The participants were subsequently served delicious food and refreshments. In addition to members of the Karwan-e-Hawa Literary Forum, women from various walks of life also participated enthusiastically in the gathering.
The blessed event concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity and unity, leaving the participants with a renewed sense of devotion, love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and mutual brotherhood.
