Dr. Khan described the KMU Hospital & Research Centre as a landmark initiative that has made KMU the first public-sector university in the province to establish its own independent teaching and research hospital. He further noted that nearly 18 percent of KMU students benefit from scholarships and financial assistance programs. They expressed keen interest in developing partnerships through faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, academic networking, and collaborative innovation initiatives.
Both sides emphasized the need to transform discussions into practical outcomes and agreed to pursue concrete collaborative measures. It was decided that Prof. Dr. Jalil Khan would serve as KMU’s focal person for advancing cooperation with Bangladeshi institutions.
The delegation reaffirmed the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh and underscored the importance of academic diplomacy, collaborative research, and people-to-people engagement in addressing shared challenges and promoting regional development.
