UPPER DIR: The Darora Super League (DSL 9) successfully concluded in Darora, Tehsil Laram, organized with support from the District Administration and District Sports Office Upper Dir. The event ran for one month.
A total of 10 franchises participated. Cricket fans enjoyed high-quality, exciting, and thrilling matches throughout the tournament. A large crowd attended the final, making the event even more memorable.
The final was played between PPZ Darwora and Al-Sadat Gandigar. Batting first, PPZ Darora set a target of 107 runs, with Fawad scoring a brilliant 42. In response, Al-Sadat Gandigar was bowled out for just 68 runs. PPZ Darora’s bowler Muhib delivered an excellent performance, taking 4 key wickets. PPZ Darora won by 42 runs and clinched the DSL 9 title.
District Sports Officer Sadiqullah and other political and social figures attended the closing ceremony and distributed prizes and trophies to the players.
Fans praised the entire event, saying programs like this are a positive and effective step for promoting sports.
