SWABI: Women University Swabi has approved a surplus budget of Rs. 649.531 million for the financial year 2025–26. The Senate meeting, chaired by Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi, focused on key educational and financial matters.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Higher Education Department (HED), University Treasurer Muhammad Hussain, Senate members, and other stakeholders. The core agenda of the meeting was the improvement of the university’s academic development, strategic planning, and infrastructure.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen presented the budget, which outlined total receipts of Rs. 649.531 million. The Senate unanimously approved the budget, describing it as a transparent, effective, and visionary financial strategy. The HED and Senate members praised the university’s leadership for responsible financial management.
Minister Meena Khan Afridi commended the efforts of the Vice Chancellor and her team, stating that a strong financial strategy is vital for the promotion of women’s higher education and institutional stability.
