Islamabad: Senator Rubina Khalid briefed the MNA about BISP’s financial assistance programs, new payment system, mobile registration vans, registration procedures and steps taken to provide skill training to deserving women and selected members of their families under the Benazir Hunarmand Program. Also, the important issue of staff shortage in BISP was discussed. MNA Syed Naveed Qamar also briefed on BISP-related issues and suggestions at various forums. Furthermore, discussions were also held on ensuring parliamentary cooperation to make BISP more effective and improve the outreach of the program to the deserving.
